| b Bradfield St George, Suffolk d 1 Cambria Ave, Ellesmere, Shropshire As Sgt Alfred Cobbold in the 3rd Rifle Brigade he was badly wounded in the arm in France. He was 21 years with his Regiment before going to Ellesmere College for the CCF. Alfred was initiated a member of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Hare and Hounds Lodge No 2490 in the town of Ellesmere on the 19th of January 1922. |
