| b Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Walter was educated at Brock University in St. Catherine's where he was awarded a BA. Originally the Barton family were farmers in Yorkshire. Walter's parents were Walter and Alice Barton but Alice died in 1962 and Walter married Sylvia who became known as Nana Barton to the grandchildren. |
