| An active wine writer, broadcaster and teacher who went from England to live in France in 1973, David has worked in the wine trade full-time since 1983. Now he has been running his own business as a writer and journalist, as well as teaching wine knowledge to wine lovers and professionals, via l'Academie du Vin de Paris and wine clubs. In addition to articles for various specialist wine magazines in France, Canada, the UK, Japan and India, David is author or co-author of more than 20 books on wine. As a wine journalist, he has been editor-in-chief of 2 magazines: 'Flavours from France' and 'The Wine Review of France' an English language version of the number one French wine magazine, 'La Revue du Vin de France'. He has a weekly radio slot on the only French radio show devoted to wine, 'In Vino BFM' (BFM is the no. 1 business / economy channel in France). He has hosted TV programmes for Wine TV (USA), and was a contributor to the French TV programme 'Paris Art de Vivre' on BFM. He co-founded a French-speaking web site devoted to wine for which he writes regularly - www.eccevino.com. He is a regular blogger on wine and other topics on his 'More than just wine' blog and on the collective wine blog 'Les 5 du vin'.
