| b (Baptized at St. Giles'-in-the-Fields Church, London, 31st March 1722) d Bell Hall, Yorkshire William's father was Sir Edmund Anderson 5th Bt born 4th November 1687 and died 3rd May 1765 and his mother was Mary Harvey who died in 1748. They had married in 1721. Sir Edmund married secondly on 11th February 1754 Frances Batty (1729-11/9/1801) William graduated at Westminster and Trinity College, Cambridge BA in 1743 and MA in 1745. William succeeded to the baronetcy of Broughton on 3rd May 1765. This line is identified as Broughtons of Kilnwick Percy Hall. |
