A memorial window has just been inserted in the north Aisle of St. Mary-le-Tower Church by Mr Cobbold in memory of three members of the family. The window was executed by Mr. Wailes, of Newcastle. The subject in the upper portion of the window is that of our Lord blessing little children, and a large number of figures are grouped together, whilst in the centre light of the lower compartment our Lord is represented as gathering lillies, and on one side is the inscription “Wither is thy beloved gone?” and on the other side the answer is, “My beloved is gone down into the garden to gather lillies.”

Running along the foot of the window is the following:- Harriet Sophia Cobbold born 13th May, died 25th August, 1834; Temple Francis Cobbold, born 21st October, 1836, died 25th March,1837; and Sophia M E Cobbold, born 14th January, died 19th May, 1844. Mr H Day of Ipswich was entrusted with the work of fixing the window.
