| b Amsterdam d London Born 20th July but year unknown. Escaped on the last boat out of Holland before the German invasion in 1939. Otherwise he would probably have been sent to a concentration camp. By chance I am making this entry one day after the 60th. anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz in 1945 |
