| Ronald Ingram-Johnson and Jean M Gundle had seven children: Apart from Ann, there is Jill Ingram-Johnson born 1948; Susan Ingram-Johnson born 1949, to date married with two children; Margaret Ingram-Johnson, born 1951; Wendy Ingram-Johnson; David Ingram-Johnson and Peter Ingram-Johnson. Ronald was commissioned on 4th March 1944 into the Royal Regiment of Artillery. The 1st British Airborne Division Officers website says he was Officer Commanding "D" Troop 1st Airlanding Anti-tank Battery RA in September 1944 but his granddaughter says he broke his leg in July 1944 and was in hospital a long time. The same source says he was brother-in-law to Col. Patrick Rupert Richard De Burgh OBE RA. |
