Appointed to RHA 1906; Capt 1911. Posted to Egyptian Army Dec. 1911; Major Oct. 1914. Served with RFA in the great War. Despatches. Awarded DSO and CBE. Retired from Army to his estate, Achnadreish, Mull, Scotland. Later, sold this estate and went to South America. |
