| b Sheppey, Kent d Died at Sea Died at sea on HMS Daedalus. Buried Maidstone Cemetery, Kent. He was honoured by the King in 1937 whilst serving on HMS Hunter which was struck by a mine on 13 5 1937. He helped rescue several of the crew from the ship under great hardship. Details on the Internet. |
