d Flixton House, near Lowestoft, Suffolk Martha was the eldest surviving but second daughter of Henry Brinton, JP, of Kidderminster, Worcestershire. On the death of her husband, she shut up Belle Vue in Halifax and moved all the best contents to Somerleyton in Suffolk. On her son's marriage in 1887, she moved out of Somerleyton Hall. She died at Flixton House near Lowestoft where she had been living. There is a memorial window to her in Somerleyton Church where she is buried.
