| Luke is the son of Mr John Theophilus of Eygaliers, France and Mrs Jane Theophilus of Putney. Luke and Susannah met on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend and immediately clicked. He turned up at her London flat with a bunch of flowers before taking her out for a drink. In 1996-97, when he was at Radley, Luke rowed at Henley and is a member of the Leander Club. When he decided to propose he designed a sapphire engagement ring himself (sapphire is Susannah's birthstone) and took her to the Hotel du Vin at Henley, where he asked her to marry him. Susannah is executive assistant to the CEO of the luxury lifestyle company Quintessentially, which has 45 offices around the world and offers its members a 24-hour concierge service. Before that she worked for 8 years as a television production manager on shows including 'Big Brother'. Luke is a computer technician with Apple working from the company's store in Regent Street.
