Curate of Stalbridge, Dorset 1837-1844; Perpetual Curate os St Jude, Chelsea 1844-1855; Rector of Christchurch, Spitalfields 1855-1867; Rector of Thorpe 1867-1896; Rural Dean of Blofield 1870. Hon Canon, Norwich Cathedral 1882. He died at home on a Saturday evening whilst entertaining members of a Bible Class. At the moment he was remarking that the King's illness showed we are all in God's hands when he sank down and died immediately. |
