Awarded Jubilee Medal 1935 and Coronation Medal 1937. He is commemorated in St. Brandon's Church, Brancepeth, DH7 8DF with a Brass plaque on the wall of the north transept beside the DLI window. He was cremated at Darlington where there is also a CWGC (Commonwealth War Graves Commission) tablet. |
