| Prior to his adulterous relationship with Margaret, James had married Annie Gilmour and they had three daughters: Annie Dorothy born in October 1898 who went on to marry John Curtis Breare in Islington in 1921. They emigrated to Australia in 1924 where she died in Balwyn, Victoria in 1960. Their second daughter, Elsie Emily was born in July 1905 who married Hilton J Organ in Islington in 1928. She died in 1948 in Willesden, Middlesex. The third daughter Ivy who was born in the spring of 1910 died of congenital heart disease aged 5. After she was widowed in 1913 Annie Gilmour married William Middleditch in Islington in 1919. She died in 1949 aged 74 in Willesden, Middlesex. |
