| Brough (as he was always known), a National Hunt Jockey with over 100 winners to his name, wrote a number of books among them being 'World of Flat Racing' (1983) and 'On and Off the Rails' (1984). He was the chief presenter of Channel 4 Racing in 1985, Editorial Director of 'Racing Post' in 1988 and author of 'Front Runners' in 1991 and 'Up Front - Willie Carson' in 1994. He was chief sports writer for the Sunday Telegraph in 1995 |
