| b East Lothian, Scotland d France. Died of wounds. Buried Lillers Communal Cemetery, France John was the second son and was commissioned into the 1st/8th Royal Scots Lothian Regiment. He had been listed as wounded (as a 2nd Lt.) twice previously on 2nd August and 23rd November 1916. In the 1901 Scottish Census he was a seedsman's apprentice living with his parents. |
