| d New Zealand. Died in a Fire. Capt Kitchener and Mary Laud had 7 children who all died unmarried and without issue. They were Henry Hamilton (b & d 1868); William Henry (1869-1895); Susan Mary (1871-1882); Charles Elwyn (1873-1884); Frank Sydney (1874-1882); Mabel Edith (1876-1882) and Harold Gordon (1881-1882). It is noted that Capt Kitchener and 4 of his children all died between 1st of July and 13th August the same year in New Zealand. |
