b Lambeth but brought up in Newport, Isle of Wight Henry was Mayor of Brighton, where he lived, I think, most, if not all, his life, 1875-76. The Abbey family took over the Bristol Brewery from William Hallett and later changed its name to Kemp Town Brewery. It was sold to Charringtons in 1954. In Brighton he is associated with the following addresses: 17-19 Abbey Road; 83 St. George's Road and St.Helen's Road |
