| An advertisement in the Inverness Courier of 24th January 1856 gives his address as 10 Pall Mall East, London. An announcement in The London Gazette of 18th August 1865 was as follows: " Notice is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, carrying on business under the firm of Mackenzie, Hallett, and Co., as Wine and Spirit Merchants, at 10, Pall Mall East, in the county of Middlesex, was dissolved by mutual consent on the 12th day of August instant. - Dated this 17th day of August, 1865, George Mackenzie. M. W. Hallett." |
