An inset stone tablet at St Bartholemew's reads: Pray for George Augustus Cobbold, first vicar of this parish, 1894-1915. In grateful memory of his faithful and courageous ministry, this chapel of the Most Holy Sacrament was dedicated June 28th 1925.

The church also contains memorials to Anna Frances Cobbold (1830-1907) and her husband Dean Edward Spooner (1821-1899). A marble pulpit was given, in memory of her parents and husband by Constance S Green and C Alice Cobbold, and a marble font is dedicated to the Glory of God and in memory of John Chevallier and Lucy Cobbold by their grandchildren.
