Francis' parents were Henry Orton born 19th Sept. 1830 in Northamptonshire who died 11th Dec. 1878 in the County Lunatic Asylum, Mickleover, Derbyshire and Rebecca Richdale born 1820 in Derbyshire who died 15th Feb. 1900 and was buried on 19th Feb. at St Giles, Matlock, Derbyshire. They had married in 1842 in Derbyshire and had 5 children. Henry was a pot manufacturer. |
