| b Bristol, Gloucestershire Educated - Cranborne Chase and New Hall College, Cambridge Left in 1966. Unusually, Deborah was christened on HMS Implacable in Devonport, Plymouth on 17th February 1945 and her baptism was registered at the Royal Dockyard Chapel. Her father was Captain of Implacable at the time. The Godparents were Col. R Bucknall, Capt. C F Norris RN, Mrs Claire Laing and Mrs R Cobbold. Deborah's parents were living at Greysted, Quill Hall Lane, Amersham at the time. Deborah was confirmed on 3rd January 1962 at the Church of St. Thomas-on-The Bourne, by Rt. Rev. F F Johnston who was assistant Bishop of Guildford. |
