| b Hessle, Hull d Buried at Parish Church of All Saints, Waldron, Sussex Edward was ordained and Licensed to Brighouse in 1907 (priest 1908) where he was curate until 1913. He was a boarder with Rev.Oscar Sidney Laurie in 1911 and at St. Paul, Middlesborough 1913-1917. Later he was British chaplain to Puerto Ovotara, Tenerife, Canary Islands, 1928-1942 and curate of Waldron 1942-1952. Hon. Canon of Sierra Leone from 1929. Went to live at Roseneath in Cross-in-Hands, Sussex. His estate was administered by John Guildford Redfern who was a Company Director. He appears in the Calderwell Companion |
