| b Rome Edwin Morley-Fletcher was educated at Rome University and graduated in Politics in 1969, and in Economics, 1972. He attended the Italian School for Political and Economical Sciences (post-graduate scholarship)and has been active in politics from the age of sixteen. In 1967, he became Secretary of the Young Federalists. He later became Chef de Cabinet to the President of the Italian League of Co-operatives; Councillor and Chairman of the Working Party on the Welfare Market and served on the National Council of Economy and Labour, 1985-2000.
