| b Braintree, Essex David moved to Ipswich during WWII and completed his National Service (1957/8) in the RAF with 2nd TAF in Germany. He joined Ipswich Borough Police in January 1959 and retired as Chief Inspector, Suffolk Constabulary in 1985. He joined Suffolk Acre Rural Charity in 1987, retiring in 2001. David has served twice as Chairman of Belstead Parish Council from 1987 to 1999 and from 2011 to time of writing (2015) |
