| b York d Kent Sailed from Gravesend to Nelson, New Zealand on the Lord Auckland leaving on 25/9/1841 and arriving 23/2/1842. Alfred, Fanny and their children came back to England for their children's education in 1859. 3 sons, Charles, Walter and Alfred George returned to New Zealand in later life. Alfred was one of 11 children of George Fell and his wife Henrietta Mitchell. George was a merchant in the china trade and various members of his mother's family were involved in the china, earthenware and glass trade including his aunt Elizabeth who was married to William Little. |
